In the studio or on location, setting up backgrounds, light stands, reflectors and light shapers can take a lot of time. But photographers are happy to accept that if the work goes off easily afterwards and the effort is rewarded with first-class, correctly exposed and atmospheric photos.
Once the photographers are in the flow and the people feel comfortable in front of the camera, nothing should disturb the course of the shoot as much as possible. A professional radio transmitter is the key to this. This is attached to the hot shoe of the camera, regardless of the brand and model. During the shoot, the radio transmitter for the studio flashes becomes a creative control center.e.

Radio transmitter for studio flashes - always perfect exposures
From a single flash to complex structures
The radio transmitters for studio flashes such as the HS Freeze 4 or the HS Freeze 6m easily control several groups of flashes separately from each other. This means that photographers can easily make all the settings for the flashes used from the transmitter. If, for example, a rimlight is too strong or you have the feeling that the softbox needs more power, the relevant details can easily be changed on the transmitter. Gone are the days when light stands had to be moved from one place to another or where photographers had to manually adjust the strength of each studio flash on the device.
Different exposure modes at the push of a button
Not only can the flash intensity be adjusted using the radio transmitter, but also the individual exposure modes. The devices can be combined in groups of flashes or controlled individually. If you want to work with a smaller aperture, thanks to the innovative transmitter you only need to press a button to adjust the flash output accordingly.
Full control or automatic exposure
The professional radio transmitters can be used in manual and TTL mode. In this case, manual means that photographers have full control over each individual flash and can choose the flash intensity themselves, depending on the situation. TTL stands for through the lens. In this mode, the camera uses the light falling through the lens to calculate in real time which flash output is required to achieve perfect exposure. This mode is particularly useful when things have to be done quickly or when the distance between the people and objects being photographed and the studio flash varies.rt.
High speed sync or HSS
In combination with the ambient light, especially in strong sunlight, ordinary flash photography quickly reaches its limits. Due to the slow flash synchronization times, you either have to work with a small aperture or the desired effect of the light is not visible at all. Fortunately, the modern studio flashes are also able to synchronize at high speed in connection with the radio transmitters. This means nothing else than that the use of the flash is also possible with synchronization times that are below the usual 1/125 sec or 1/250 sec.
Even on sunny days, the flash can be used as the dominant light source. It is also possible to work with a larger aperture. This leads to the well-known and popular bokeh effect, especially in portraits.
